Things-to-do-in-Berney-Arms

Find things to do in Berney Arms in Norfolk on your trip to the Broads this year

You might be tempted to think that there aren’t many things to do in Berney Arms, one of the country’s most isolated and unique villages. Devoid of inhabited houses and with only a station, windpump, pub and farm to it, Berney Arms can only be accessed via train or boat. But the truth is that there are many things available to do in this charming and special settlement in Norfolk. There is, of course, the Bereney Arms pub that stands, proud and alone, amidst the village. It offers a great range of food and beverages and you’re sure not to be displeased with the quality of provisions.

Among the many other things to do in Berney Arms, the Berney Arms walking scene is flourishing. There are many gorgeous walks and paths available just outside the village, and these can take you through miles of pleasant marshland and countryside filled with birds, wildlife and charming vistas. Shopping in Berney Arms itself is quite difficult due the village’s almost deserted state, but Berney Arms’ rail and boat links make shopping in any of the surrounding towns, villages, or even Norwich itself, more than easy.
