Close to Blakeney and Wells next the Sea, Morston is another beautiful, picturesque North Norfolk coastal village, and is a wonderful destination if you fancy leaving the broads for a daytrip to this beautiful corner of the British coastline. Morston was once a major port, but over the last four centuries it has evolved into a delightful, sleepy village.

Morston is worth a visit for many reasons, but if you’re in Blakeney, and fancy a delicious lunch, it’s worth making the trip to the wonderful restaurant at Morton Hall. You can even rent a sea-going boat from Blakeney and make your way to Morston while enjoying a reverse view of this stunning coastal village.
